Everyone Deserves A Home

We believe all animals deserve loving, forever homes who will take care of them from the moment they arrive to the moment it is time for them to pass on to the next phase of life. At Diego’s Friends Farm Sanctuary, animals have a forever place to call their home and be loved for the rest of their lives. We are an online, education focused sanctuary. We work to help others avoid common pitfalls of animals care that often lands animals in dangerous situations. We also help other rescues and sanctuaries gain exposure and get help when they need it.

Please note we are not open to the public and do not have events on the property. We use our rescued animals stories to educate about their care and recovery to help others become more knowledgeable. We are not a rescue and not a drop off location. If you are in need of assistance for your animals, please email us and we will do our best to connect you with another resource.

Our two mares, Misty and Inola enjoying the sunshine and running together. Only a few short months ago, Inola was on her way to slaughter from a kill pen in Amish country Pennsylvania. She's undergone a lot of rehabilitation in the last few months and is becoming an incredible mare. She has quite a ways to go, but her progress has been amazing.

Donating, Volunteering, and Education are some of the best ways to help abused and neglected animals.

Diego’s Friends Farm Sanctuary is a small nonprofit farm animal sanctuary and 501(c)3 in Central Massachusetts. Our mission is to educate the public, as well as rehabilitate, heal, train, and love abused and neglected animals. Please help us with our mission of saving animals who have been failed by humans in their past. Your donation will go towards pulling horses from kill pens, helping owners get back on their feet, administrative costs, and helping other farm animal rescues and sanctuaries save more animals. If you would like to volunteer at a rescue or sanctuary but do not know where to start, please reach out to us and we can help connect you with a local charity.
